A very interesting direction to take for a web based 3D wiki. I see this as a great jumping off point where it could push into better 3D collaboration or better learning/training around complex objects.
Also thinking about changing out the rendering component to something compatible (HTML5 canvas?) with the new class of slate devices may allow touch based interaction in the future.
